Join Khenmo Drolma at the beautiful Goronson Farm in Scarborough, Maine and be immersed in Earth’s joy, wonder, vulnerability, and resilience.

Do you know what the tree in the Garden of Eden looked like? Or the roses Nostradamus grew to make rose petal pills to prevent plague? Are you taking turmeric and want to meet the plant? Join Khenmo Drolma as she leads an outdoor meditation at Goronson Farm where these plants are grown. We will tour the farm and then sit with a meditation designed to allow us to experience our deep connection to the Earth. Afterward, guests will be encouraged to contemplatively wander and explore the farm—enjoying the terrace, meditation spaces, orchard, vineyards, and rare breed ducks and chickens.

Guests will be served small bites made by Goronson Farm’s very own Chef Alex using the farm’s free-range, pastured eggs and certified organic fruit & produce.

This has become one of our favorite annual events.

Khenmo Drolma offers teaching connecting us to the earth, streaming from the abundance of her dharma experience. We have the opportunity to directly experience the generosity of Goronson Farm as they offer a wonderful high tea created by the abundance of their farm. We then offer abundantly to sustain and thank Khenmo Drolma and the farm. We are all part of this interdependence and each of us must find a way to participate in the cycle.

For the program, we ask a minimum $40 donation or a suggested $100 donation.

Donations can be made through paypal using the button “Any amount” with the note Farm. You may also contribute onsite when we gather. We will have Venmo available.

Buddhist monastics present the Dharma in the context of Dana, or generosity. The suggested donations allow participants to contribute at a level that meets their personal financial situation. This is an expression of trust that the generosity of the teachers and organizations creating programs are met in appreciation and support by the recipient.
